A estrela international Laura Pausini venceu o seu primeiro prémio nos Golden Globe, que ocorreu na passada noite durante a cerimónia virtual transmitida pela NBC e apresentada por Tina Fey e Amy Poehler.
A aclamada cantora e compositora italiana, arrecadou o prémio de Best Original Song, juntamente com os compositores Diane Warren e Niccolò Agliardi, com o tema Io Sì/Seen, que fez parte da banda sonora do filme da Netflix The Life Ahead, dirigido por Edoardo Ponti e com a participação de Sophia Loren.
Uma enorme distinção à carreira de sucesso de Pausini, que ainda este ano foi reconhecida com um Hollywood Music in Media e um Satellite Award.
"Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would win a Golden Globe! And to be the first woman to win with a song in Italian… I am truly overwhelmed. What an honor." Io Si/ Seen, foi escrita por Diane Warren, Laura Pausini e Niccolò Agliardi e contou com a produção executiva de Bonnie Greenberg (supervisor musical de filmes como My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Mask, What Women Want, entre outros). Para além da versão original italiana, a canção vencedora foi também editada em quatro outras línguas: Inglês (Seen), Espanhol (Yo Si), Português (Eu Sim) e Francês (Moi Si).
Io Si / Seen foi ainda nomeada para os Critics Choice Awards (a cerimónia terá lugar a 7 Março), e é um das canções incluídas na Shortlist dos Oscars®, na categoria de Best Song.
